Bryan's Portfolio - Restoration

Bryan restores both stone and wood sculptures.
After evaluating the extent of damage, Bryan gives an estimate pertaining to the cost and time required to restore the sculpture. Damaged sculptures can usually be restored at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new one.
Bryan has restored many sculptures to their original splendor. This experience, along with his experience in creating new sculptures enables him to guarantee customer satisfaction.

|  | Sacred Heart View Full Figure Both thumbs and the left index finger were missing so Bryan carved and attached new ones.
The statue was dirty and pitted from the outdoor elements so he sanded the entire statue, cleaned it and applied a sealer to it to protect it from the elements.

|  | "Button Box" Player The hat brim was missing so Bryan carved a new one, attached it and stained it to match the original color.

|  | Station of the Cross #10 Bryan reattached the broken parts and strengthened the joint from the back. Bryan then painted the damaged area with paint that matched the original paint.

|  | Infant Jesus The toes were missing on the left foot so Bryan carved new toes and attached them. He then painted the damaged area with paint to match the original paint.

|  | Corpus Christi Both arms were broken off as well as a couple of fingers and parts of the crown of thorns. Bryan replaced the broken dowels that fasten the arms with larger diameter dowels, sanded the arm joints flat and attached the arms, fingers and broken crown of thorns pieces. He then painted the damaged areas with paint to match the original paint.
